I’m white male. What race problem?

Charles Dibe,
Lincoln, TX

That was the me of my youth. (I’m now 81.) Almost totally oblivious. I read the news, but I didn’t understand, didn’t connect emotionally to the issue of racism. I now feel a sense of responsibility for the current state of affairs and for being part of a solution. I try to avoid guilt, because guilt is such a loaded emotion that it clouds my judgement.
