I was let go from my job as a meteorologist at KTBS in Shreveport, LA for a Facebook post where I defended my hair, and later Black kids. I’m pregnant now and feel there is still so much I need to do to change the world before my son gets here. 🙂 But if I have to start with my hair I will.
