Race is fear of the unknown

The human race is known throughout history to have segregated, alienated, and judged others on the basis of being different. Whether this deals with religion, country of origin, cultural choices, or most significantly, one’s race, we rely on pre-conceived notions of a person based on the superficial. We wish that these minute differences were only significant in shaping our perspectives, and creating diversity, but rather they have been the rooted cause of social prejudice, slavery, and war. Race is fear of the unknown. Race is the fear of what we cannot understand.
